Position: Window Installer

Main Duties:

• Review blueprints and/or work orders to determine installation requirements.
• Measure and mark installation locations according to specifications.
• Safely remove old windows, accurately measure, and fit new windows into prepared openings, and Secure windows in place using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install trim or molding around windows for a finished appearance.
• Test installed windows for proper operation, ensuring it works smoothly according to its mechanism.
• Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively to repair the window and its parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform routine maintenance on installed windows as needed.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Report any issues or challenges encountered during installations and provide feedback to supervisors or management regarding process improvements or customer feedback.

-Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time

-Work hours per week: 30 hours/week

-Wage: $24.00 hourly

-Benefits: 4% paid vacation

Requirement:

-Education requirements: completion of secondary school

-Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

-Language: speak English, Read English, Write English
