Asian Cuisine Cook

The Bowl Asian Cuisine Ltd. (Boru Asian Cuisine), Located in London, Ontario, offers an extensive list of tasty Asian cuisine menu options and some dessert. We are currently seeking an experienced Asian Cuisine Cook to join our team.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time by shift (40hr/week)

Rate: $18.00/hr, paid vacation days and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals and dishes as directed by kitchen manager;
• Train kitchen helpers in cooking and preparing dishes;
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers;
• Maintain inventory and order food, supplies and equipment;
• Plan daily and weekly special menu;
• Estimate food costs and monitor and order supplies;
• Clean kitchen and work area.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school;
• Fluent in English;
• Food Handler Certificate;
• Minimum two years of experience in cooking authentic Asian cuisine and ingredients in commercial food preparation.
