Responsibilities
Tasks
- Manage and coordinate staff activities in food preparation, portioning, and serving, while scheduling their shifts.
- Resolve guest complaints and work with the team to prevent future issues, ensuring food and service quality.
- Estimate, procure, and order ingredients and supplies for meals, keeping records of inventory, sales, and waste.
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, offering coaching as needed.
- Handle daily cash transactions and prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, compiling and submitting reports.
- Recruit and hire food service staff familiar with the establishment's culinary specialties.
- Supervise and inspect the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring all procedures are followed.
