Position Details

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately

Location: 3135 Hwy 7 Unit 1AB, Markham, ON L3R 0T9

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time

Salary: $ 42,000 - $ 48,000 per year

Benefit: Paid vacation days and employee discount

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily activities of the sales team, ensuring they meet performance standards.
• Create and arrange work schedules for sales team, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
• Oversee inventory levels and authorize the return of products, ensuring products are adequately stocked and displayed.
• Coordinate with the inventory team for restocking.
• Coordinate with customer re delivery and pick-up schedules.
• Set and monitor sales targets for the team and develop strategies to achieve and exceed these goals.
• Plan and execute in-store promotions and events to drive sales and attract customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports and other administrative documents.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide feedback to upper management on sales trends, customer preferences, and product performance.
• Assist in the development and management of the store’s budget. Monitor expenses to ensure they are within budgetary constraints.
• Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and safe for both customers and employees.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively assist customers.
• Provide training to new hires and monitor performance to sales team.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new products.
• Cover missing shifts and may perform the sales duties as sales supervised.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.  
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in retail.
• Minimum 1 year of sales supervisor experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle various challenges in the store.
• Be able to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends and evening.
• Fluent in English language
