Responsibilities

• Safely drive, load, handle, and transport materials and heavy cargo.
• Collect goods and supplies, confirm load accuracy, and deliver them according to instructions.
• Operate heavy freight trucks either individually or as part of a team as needed.
• Adhere to instructions, navigate using maps and location information.
• Secure necessary permits and documentation for long-distance transportation routes.
• Perform roadside repairs and adjust brakes in emergency situations.
• Keep records of cargo details, work hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, including brakes, tires, lights, and all vehicle components.
• Promptly report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisor or dispatcher.

Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
