Job Description

Parsiena Design Inc. was formed in 2009. In 2010 Parsiena moved into a large facility, where they stream-line production of their products. The space is also dedicated to a large showroom that features both cast stone and plaster architectural elements. They produce Ultra Thin Reinforced Concrete, Fireplace Mantels, Kitchen Hoods, Architectural Elements and Plaster Elements. Their contracts division supply and install moldings for both traditional and contemporary developments.

The management has identified the need for an experienced full-time Civil Engineering Technologist to join their team. Details are as follows.

• Location: Concord, ON, L4K 2E8
• Salary: $33.00 hourly
• Terms of employment: Permanent Full time

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
• Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
• Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates
• Prepare engineering designs and drawings
• Prepare project schedules
• Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
