Responsibilities/ Tasks
- Record and reconcile a variety of accounts using both manual and automated systems.
- Manage the receipt of payments for services and goods, and issue invoices to clients or customers.
- Keep up-to-date general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Record financial transactions through journal entries.
- Prepare and compile financial, statistical, and accounting reports as needed.
- Assess and prepare the trial balance of books.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
- Process payroll and prepare cheques and pay slips, ensuring accurate computation of wages and deductions.
