Tasks
Manage databases tracking transport activities, financials, schedules, and personnel records; Supervise workers and maintain optimal staffing levels and collaborate with administrative staff as necessary for driver recruitment; Ensure delivery drivers adhere to designated routes; Provide comprehensive on-the-road training to truck drivers to enhance their performance; Monitor and ensure timely dispatch of all loads, documenting any delays and reasons such as late dispatch, missed arrival times, or operational issues; Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensure the accurate delivery of freight; Serve as the main point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationship and effectively address any issues or inquiries related to delivery; Enforce delivery policies and procedures regarding truck cleanliness, temperature control, and service standards.
