Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and shape assemble and join materails made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials; Ready customize frames according to customers desired dimensions; Bore holes for insertion of screws or dowels by hand or using boring machine; Ensure structural integrity by aligning and securing framing members; Repair or refurbrish damaged wood parts in structure; Perform and ensure regularity of woodwork activities using planes and straining materials; Quote an estimate cost of service and material; Safely operate power tools and machinery for cutting and shaping wood; Inspect and repair damaged or defective structures; Estimate material requirements and maintain inventory; Produce wooden components by shaping and cutting raw material with the aid of hand tools.; Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety; Follow project timelines and deadlines to deliver furniture goods;Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and challenges
