Landscape Worker

Employer: All Earth Construction Inc. 

Job details:

Location: Based at 26904 96 AVE Acheson, ABT7X 5A6, with travel to various site locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas, AB

Transportation/Travel: Travel Expenses and living allowance covered by employer as per company policy

Salary: $23.00 to $35.00 hourly (based on experience); salary increases and bonus per company policy 

Benefits: Co-paid benefits (Optional, co-paid benefits available – dental, AB Healthcare, prescription, vision)

Terms and conditions of employment: Seasonal, Full-time (44 hours/week, may vary based on weather); Day, Evening, Morning, Weekend, Overtime (Banked Overtime Agreement).

Start date: Spring 2024 (actual start date is weather-dependent).

Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Not required

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

Area of work: Landscape construction

Work site environment: Outdoors, Dusty

Duties:

• Assist with landscape construction
• Rake and collect refuse
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Lay sod or seed
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment (chainsaw, sod cutter, small engine equipment)
• Installation of landscaping materials: Sod, Synthetic grass, topsoil, rock, mulch, boulders, etc.,
• Grading (moving materials using shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows)
• Compaction of Materials (Related to Hand tamp, hand roller, shovels, and rakes)
• Cleaning up Sites
• Hauling materials around sites by wheelbarrow
• Forklift operation, if qualified to do so (training provided)
• Use of Hand tools (hand saws, concrete cutters, drills, electric auger)
