A leading manufacturing company is looking for an Office administrative assistant.

Salary: $25.50/hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Tasks:
Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
Supervise other workers.
Establish and implement policies and procedures.
Train other workers.
Train, direct and motivate staff.
Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Manage contracts.
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
Answer electronic enquiries.
Oversee the development of communication strategies.
Compile data, statistics, and other information.
Oversee the preparation of reports.
Advise senior management.
Respond to employee questions and complaints.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
Perform data entry.
Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
Scheduling content and following up with ambassadors.
