Location: Kitchener, ON N2H 6M6
Salary: $40.20 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine industry trends and competitors to gain valuable strategic intelligence.
- Creating plans for business expansion and growth strategies.
- Presenting at conferences, workshops, and symposia, as well as designing and executing business plans.
- Discovering prospective customers and collaborators to foster business expansion.
- Cultivating and sustaining connections with clients.
- Supervising the allocation of budgets and resources earmarked for business development endeavors.
- Creating reports, research documents, materials, or articles while conducting in-depth marketing research studies.
- Coordinating efforts to stimulate economic investments in both rural and urban areas to address industrial and commercial requirements.
- Turning potential leads into successful agreements through negotiation and contract discussions.
- Supervising development projects and handling inquiries from business community members regarding potential avenues for growth.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is the minimum educational requirement.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or business development is important.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for building relationships and presenting proposals.
- The ability to analyze market trends, competitors, and data to make informed decisions.
- An established network of contacts in the industry can be a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in negotiation and contract management is often required.
- A strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and develop plans to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and the ability to convert leads into deals.
- The capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and business strategies.
