Job position: Bookkeeper
Vacancy: 1
Payrate: $27.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Job type: Full-time and permanent
Start date: as soon as possible

Job requirements:
Education: completion of Secondary school graduation is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
Language: English
Job duties:
- Organize and record invoices
- Keep financial records
- Establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Co-ordinate with the company’s accountant and provide them with the required financial paperwork
- Prepare financial and accounting reports
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utility bills and other service bills
- Prepare T4 slips, employer summary sheets and other documents related to tax returns
- Complete and submit remittance forms, workers compensation forms and other government documents
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts
- Coordinate with staff and management as required
