LOWER MAINLAND IMMIGRATION SERVICES LTD.  located at Unit 207, 12639 80 Avenue Surrey BC V3W 3A6 is currently hiring:

Job position: Bookkeeper

Vacancy: 1

Payrate: $27.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Job type: Full-time and permanent

Start date: as soon as possible  

Job location: Unit 207, 12639 80 Avenue Surrey BC V3W 3A6

Job requirements:

Education: completion of Secondary school graduation is required.

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.

Language: English

Job duties:

  • Organize and record invoices
  • Keep financial records
  • Establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Co-ordinate with the company’s accountant and provide them with the required financial paperwork
  • Prepare financial and accounting reports
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utility bills and other service bills
  • Prepare T4 slips, employer summary sheets and other documents related to tax returns
  • Complete and submit remittance forms, workers compensation forms and other government documents
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts
  • Coordinate with staff and management as required
