Job Duties:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare high quality ingredients such as sauce, toppings as per menu
Prepare and cook special meals as per customer satisfaction
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
May clean kitchen and work areaof food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
May plan menus, determine size May hire and train kitchen staff
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food,
May specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes.
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Manage kitchen operations
Enjoy working flexible shifts including weekends and nights
