Universal Plumbing & Heating Ltd.  is a construction company located at 132B street, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We are currently looking for Plumber Helpers to join our growing team.

Job Tile: Plumber helper

Positions vacant: 2

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent, occasional overtime is required

Wages: $21.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, overtime pay starts after 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period

Work location: various locations across lower mainland area, depends on job project site

Job type: residential, industrial and renovation construction job projects

Start date: as soon as possible. We will provide on the job training.

Job requirements:

• No education is required
• No prior experience is required, we will provide on the job training
• Language: English

Job duties:

• Leave job sites clean and tidy at the end of each shift
• Load and unload construction materials
• Move materials to work areas as required by plumbers
• Assist skilled plumbers in construction activities
• Assist in aligning pipes and perform related construction activities
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Perform construction activities as directed by skilled tradespersons plumbers for their assistance
• Always follow safety guidelines
• attend safety and training meetings by supervisors and skilled plumbers
• clean up chemical spills and other containments from job site

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:  Repetitive tasks, Physical demanding

Weight Handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
