Computer Programmer (NOC 2174)

Salary: $ 43.27 hourly

Our company Spare Labs Inc. located in815 W Hastings St. Unit 810, Vancouver, B.C V6C 1B4 which provides computer services to enhance network transportation is currently in urgent need of hiring 2 experience computer programmers who have the necessary skills and experience to accomplish the following job duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and write computer programs and run software tests to spot and resolve bugs and inconsistencies
• Write code for software patches and bug fixes
• Maintaining computer programs by making necessary changes as required
• Managing database systems
• Identify troubleshooting system errors and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements and collaborate with other programmers/engineers
• Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
• Providing tech support when necessary
• Work with team members to find creative, innovative solutions to problems
• May research and evaluate a variety of software products

Requirements:

• + 1 year of specialization in programming for engineering is required OR post-secondary studies in programming for engineering and scientific applications.

(A bachelor’s degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component or completion of a college program in computer science is an asset but not mandatory)
