A construction company is looking for an experienced carpenter framer.

Duties:
•
• Measure, shape, assemble and cut materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products such as doors, and windows, using hand and power tools.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in residential houses and other establishments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• General learning ability to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
Employment requirements:
• Secondary school education is required.
• 1-3 years of experience is required.
• Valid driver's licence
• Safety equipment, Steel-tood safety boots
• Criminal record check
