Job Title: Tile Setter Helper 

Job Type: Full-time, permanent  

Vacancy: 2

Wage Rate and hours: $25.25 per hour, 40 hours per week 

Start date: as soon as possible 

Job Location: various locations across Calgary, depends upon job project.  

Job requirements: 

Language: English   

Education: No education is required. 

Experience: No experience is required. On job training will be provided.  

Job duties: 

• Load and unload construction materials.
• Always comply to company standards.
• Assist in demolishing buildings. 
• Assist lead installer/tile setter with various duties, including mixing mortar.
• Clean and pile salvaged material. 
• Assisting with pouring and spreading leveler.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminates.
• Spreading mortar.
• Washing grout residue off floor.
• Removing clips from floor.
• Follow the instructions of an on-duty supervisor.
• Perform other activities at construction sites. 
• Attend on site safety meetings. 
• Remove rubble, other debris and garbage at construction sites.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks 

Security and safety guidelines must always be kept in mind and be strictly followed at all the times. Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe-cap shoes are must while performing the job duties.
