Job requirements:
Education: completion of Secondary school graduation is required.
Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience is required.
Language: English
Additional Requirements: proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel

Job duties:
Organize and record invoices
Keep financial records
Establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
Prepare trial balance of books
Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
Co-ordinate with the company’s accountant and provide them with the required financial paperwork
Prepare financial and accounting reports
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utility bills and other service bills
Prepare T4 slips, employer summary sheets and other documents related to tax returns
Complete and submit remittance forms, workers compensation forms and other government documents
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts
Provide clerical support to staff and management if required
