Position: Cabinet Maker (NOC: 7272)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Weekend, Day, Over-time, Evening shift, if required.

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Wage Rate:  $28.00/hour. 40hrs per week, Overtime will be paid after 40 hours.

Business Location: #2 27355 56th Avenue, Langley, BC V4W 3X1

Work Location: Various Locations across Lower Mainland, BC

Minimum Education Required: High school Certificate

Experience: 3-5 years of experience.

Language: English.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure and mark outlines or dimensions of parts before cutting.
• Use professional hand tools and woodworking equipment such as power saws, jointers, thickness planer, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components.
• Trim parts of joints to ensure snug fit; subassemblies parts together by glue and clamps to form complete unit.
• Reinforce joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners.
• Sand and scrape wooden surfaces; apply veneer, stain, or polish to finish products.
• Maintain, repair, or renovate wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
