Magic Painting Ltd. located at 5921 146 Street, Surrey, BC Canada V3S 2Z8 requires two Full time/ Permanent Construction Painters to join operations immediately. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job Duties:
• Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required.
• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, steam-cleaning, etc. to remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer.
• Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture.
• Apply paint or other materials using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls.
• Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages.
• Advice customer on selection of colour schemes, choice of wall coverings and provide cost estimates.
Salary: $25/Hour
Language: English
Minimum Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of work experience in the trade is required.
